International Cake Day – 2014 in Israel

20 July 2011 kicked off the first celebration of the International Cake Day established in the Kingdom of Love. This sweet summer holiday is dedicated to friendship and peace between people, countries and nations. The holiday is based on one of the initiatives of the Kingdom of Love to promote ideas of peace on the planet through culture. The motto of the holiday is I CAKE YOU.

Countries that took active part in first historical celebration of International Cake Day — 2011 and became the founders of the holiday: Israel, USA, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia.

We cooperate with national and international professional organizations of confectioners. Today the holiday’s Facebook group includes more than 11 000 professionals from all countries of the world, and their number is constantly growing. Many pop stars and celebrities help us to promote the motto of the holiday worldwide. The holiday events usually receive huge attention of top media (TV, radio, newspapers and Internet), and this fact opens unique opportunities for all sponsors, partners and participants.

International Cake Day — 2014 celebration theme will be “The Planet Parade”.

The ICD holiday in Israel is planned to be celebrated on July 20, 2014 in festival format. Israel will have a unique chance to beautify its image with fireworks of tastes of national confectionery, blurring the boundaries of cultural differences and bringing to all participants positive emotions and good mood.

During the event in Jerusalem both citizens and tourists will enjoy the gala parade of cakes, an exhibition of the most unusual cakes (food and non-food), a unique tea party with representatives of embassies and consulates of different countries, a cake decorating master class for children and adults, a fair, a concert, and more. We also have a good tradition of humanitarian actions dedicated to ICD holiday (social assistance to children, elderly and other vulnerable groups).

ICD — 2012 celebration in Israel: an invitation to cooperation

 

On September 4, 2012 at Safra Square in Jerusalem (near the Municipality) will take place the first official celebration of International Cake Day-2012 in Israel.The holiday organizers invite interested companies and organizations to become partners and sponsors of the event.

 International Cake Day, established in the Kingdom of Love, is a holiday dedicated to friendship and peace between people, countries and nations. Kingdom of Love is an international non-profit project that implements global cultural, humanitarian and peacekeeping initiatives. The holiday, originated in Jerusalem, is based on one of the initiatives of the Kingdom of Love to promote ideas of peace on the planet through culture. The holiday celebrated this year in space theme.

ICD-2012 celebration in Israel, called FAR SIDE OF THE MOON, will take place in a format of space show in Spaceport Jerusalem. The program includes a demonstration in support of the holiday, a competition on best peace and friendship related cake design, thematic cultural program (music, art exhibition, fashion show), gift giving of cakes to representatives of public organizations (orphans, Second World War veterans, Holocaust survivors, etc.), free refreshments for all participants.

The organizer of the sweet holiday celebration is an International Organizing Committee with the support of the Israel Association of Chefs. The celebration will be covered by the Israeli and international media. The event will also become an episode of the Hollywood movie “Breaking the Wall”, produced by the Kingdom of Love. Space demonstration will be held in Jerusalem

Space demonstration in support of International Cake Day holiday is planned to take place in Jerusalem by the International Organizing Committee of ICD-2012 of the Kingdom of Love with help of  Israeli Chefs Association.

The «FAR SIDE OF THE MOON» demonstration will be held in first week of September at ​​Safra Square in the presence of honored guests: diplomats, members of social organizations of Second World war veterans and Holocaust survivors, children-, peace-, environment -related organizations and many others, as well as representatives of the space industry, municipal and governmental structures. Residents of Israel, as well as tourists from around the world, will be able to fly to the Moon from the Spaceport Jerusalem on this day.

The space social action with the main slogan I CAKE YOU is a unique event of interplanetary significance. The organizers intend to support the celebration of friendship and peace holiday in many ways – by speeches, posters, the contest for the best peace-themed cake design among diplomats, and many more. All demonstration participants at Safra Square will be given away the refreshments — miracles of confectionery art, made in honor of this event by professional Israeli chefs. The action will be part of the film «Breaking the Wall», produced in the Kingdom of Love in a new genre of Real Fantasy.

Cake Day — 2012: Kingdom of Love gathers friends

Kingdom of Love continues preparations for the celebrations of International Cake Day, which is July 20, 2012 will be celebrated for the second time. This young and cheerful holiday, as a summer New Year, has quickly enough found the response in people’s hearts .The motto of the holiday is I CAKE YOU. The countries that have actively participated in the first celebration and became the founders of the holiday: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Israel and USA.

The organizer of the International Cake Day is the International Organizing Committee that works together with national committees, preparing for the celebrations in their home countries. This year’s activities are organized in a space theme, which aims to touch the mysteries of the Universe and to convey to people the simple truth: we have only got one planet for all of us to share. It has become a tradition to surprise the holiday guests, and this year they can expect surprises again — «cakes from the future», fantastic cakes and other creative finds.  Cake Day will be celebrated online as well.

The astronautics unites people of the Earth more than any other area of activity — not by accident the first space station called «Mir» («Peace»). The request to support the holiday as a unique peace initiative is forwarded to all space agencies of the world. It has started to be formed a holiday «star support group» from among celebrities related to culture, sports and astronautics. The ICD support group on Facebook already includes several thousands of professional confectioners from around the world, and their number is constantly growing. The Organizing Committee is preparing an application to the UN General Assembly to obtain an official recognition of the International Day Cake as the holiday of friendship and peace for all peoples and nations on Earth.

«Better a hundred friends than a hundred rubles”, says a popular Russian proverb. Cake Day is another good occasion to express the love to one’s neighbor, it promotes the ability to live in peace with other people in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment. Everyone can take part in the ICD celebration, regardless of country of residence. Indeed, sometimes enough to make quite a bit to make friends, to cheer someone up and get closer to each other.

Sweet holiday united the world

20 July 2011 kicked off the first celebration of the International Cake Day established in the Kingdom of Love. This sweet summer holiday is dedicated to friendship and peace between people, countries and nations.

The motto of the holiday is I CAKE YOU. The holiday is based on one of the initiatives of the Kingdom of Love to promote ideas of peace on the planet through culture. The spiritual countryKingdom of Love is an international, non-profit project that implements global cultural, humanitarian and peacekeeping initiatives supported by the Spiritual Diplomacy Foundation (Florida, USA). 

Cake Day is a fun and lively holiday that emanates positive emotions and good mood. Nationals of all countries, national and international professional culinary associations, peace organizations, mainstream media, diplomats, heads of states, UN establishments, NASA, Roskosmos, ISS Mission Control Center had been invited to participate in the holiday.

On this day, the world’s first peace cake was baked, and anyone could take part in its preparation, regardless of country of residence. All they needed to do is bake a cake for family and friends and send a photo of their cake and the celebration, as well as the parameters (weight, size) of cake to the website of the holiday. Parameters for all the cakes were summarized in a one collective cake, and along with photos and video reports posted on the website and in other media, while the most interesting recipes will be published in a blog. Since the celebration is held at the country level, by sending reports and cakes, people supported their countries!

Those who don’t know know how to bake, could bake a peacemaking virtual cake on the holiday website and at the same time add scores to their country. July20, 2011 was marked by good deeds, and it will soon be reflected in the Book of Good Records of theKingdom ofLove. As an example, a record will be set for simultaneous baking of the world’s first collective peace cake, the boundaries of which covered Europe, Asia,America and theMiddle East. On this day people sent postcards with a greeting to friends  — «I Cake You», «Happy Cake Day», «To My Best Friend» … And, of course, special birthday greetings sent to all those born on July 20!

The holiday became an important event in cultural and public life in different countries. Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Sweden, Israel and USA took active part in historical celebration of International Cake Day — 2011.

Fashion designer Tea Lomidze and cake designer Stella Luzan organized on July 20 afantastic cake show in Georgia, Tbilisi.  Armenia and Azerbaijan celebrated the holiday with cakes, reflecting their national traditions. Singer and actress Victoria Unikel and actor Michael Dorozhkin supported Russia’s image, referring to the traditions of Russian national confectionery. They prepared a cake «Russian Summer» from an ancient recipe, taken from the world famous book by Elena Molokhovets «Gift of a young housewife», published in 1903. Ukrainian Ginger Festival 2011 joined the International Day Cake! The very special cake for the holiday with delicate and festive taste was baked by masters of Theodosia cafe «Antresol» (Crimea, Ukraine).  Americawas represented by Mark Bazalev and popular “Lemon Raspberry Delice” cake.

The Belarusian Culinary Association together with sponsors from the state bakery arranged a real summer spectacle with clowns, games, competitions and, of course, cakes, for children of «Belie Rosi» orphans home. A team of world champions in Tae Kwon Do from Moldova, along with his many victories in the competition this summer (9 gold, silver and bronze medals) celebrated the first International Cake Day with a delicious chocolate cake. Advertising agency «Natelmedia» baked a few cakes and celebrated with friends and partners. The multinational team of one ofIsrael’s hotels, working together for many years, was able to prove that real friendship exists in their community between Jews, Arabs, Russian.

This day there were other important events — the Israeli company “Natali Cakes” together withKingdomofLovehave developed the first in the  world peacemaking cake with taste and a scent of roses. The cake will be presented to public soon as a part of “Rose 4 Peace” global campaign.

Organizers hope that this sweet and happy holiday becomes an annual tradition for people all over the world.
